Avocado Hummus

Store-bought hummus has nothing on this goodness! This avocado hummus takes almost no time to make, and offers some serious nutrition with less starch than the chick-pea variety.

  1. 2 ripe avocados
  2. 1/2 lemon (just the juice!)
  3. 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
  4. 1/2 tablespoon tahini
  5. 1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  6. 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  7. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne **OPTIONAL**
  8. salt & pepper
  1. Place all the ingredients in the food processor and turn it on low for at least 60 seconds til smooth.
  1. You can experiment with adding more tahini for a denser version, or replace lemon juice with raw apple cider vinegar.
